Living in the XL A

LIVING – Simply spacious.

A television (option) can be installed ergonomically at eye level. The required power and antenna connections are already present in the vehicle.
The roomy, airy interior offers 209 cm of headroom.
At 960 x 650 mm, the single-leg table is extremely spacious. It is height-adjustable and can be moved lengthways and crossways.
The 70 cm-wide entrance door provides ample space for easy passage, even when your hands are full. It also includes a window with a blackout blind.

For extra comfort, the passage to the cab can be closed off with matching upholstered elements. This creates a spacious U-shaped seating lounge and turns the motorhome into a cosy living room – ideal for large family gatherings.

U-shaped seating lounge with panoramic view

The A 6822-2 impresses with its huge U-shaped seating lounge, spacious layout and plenty of elbow room. Large windows on three sides fill the vehicle with daylight and fresh air, while the raised seating lounge offers wonderful panoramic views.
There is also plenty of space in front of the kitchen – no more squeezing past while someone else is preparing a meal.

The U-shaped seating lounge at the rear of the A 7822-2 wraps around the table, giving everyone plenty of space to sit. Perfect for sociable evenings. With large windows on three sides, it almost feels like sitting on a veranda – relaxed, slightly elevated and with a fantastic view. It also keeps prying eyes away from your table!
However, the real highlight is the sideboard with adjoining tall cupboard – this spacious interior feels more like a small apartment than a motorhome.
The small room divider facing the kitchen creates clearly defined areas. It’s extremely practical, too: during the day, it conceals the optional TV, which glides out gently in the evening at the touch of a button, supported by a gas strut.

The attractive sideboard with adjoining tall cupboard gives you plenty of shelf space and storage options. The open shelf adds to the spacious feel and is extremely practical. Whether for your coffee machine, a bowl, your phone or your glasses, this extra surface is sure to come in handy.

The 32-inch TV is neatly hidden inside the room divider (option). A light press releases it and the gas strut raises it smoothly into position – then lowers it back out of sight just as easily.

There are two berths in the spacious area above the cab. The 210 x 165 cm sleeping area offers more than enough space and the side window and large skylight ensure a good supply of fresh air.

A bedroom to dream of – with a 211 x 152 cm sleeping area, two windows for good ventilation and large overhead lockers for bed linen. Storage nets installed under the overhead lockers allow quick access to items needed during the night. A 230 V socket and two USB charging ports make it easy to keep mobile phones and other devices charged.

Say goodbye to crumpled clothes! Your jackets, shirts and blouses can stay neatly hung up in two large wardrobes with interior lighting while you travel.

The standout feature of the A 6822-2 and A 7822-2 models is the single beds above the cab. Measuring 206 x 80 cm and 192 x 80 cm, they are generously sized and wonderfully comfortable too, thanks to 7-zone premium mattresses on wooden slatted bed frames.
This bedroom design offers the same major advantage as standard single beds – you can get up during the night without waking your partner. At the same time, the space needed for a conventional bedroom is saved, allowing for a considerably larger and roomier living room within the same overall vehicle length.

BATHROOM – Freshen up.

The bathroom is equipped with a large mirror surface that gives both taller and shorter occupants a clear view of themselves. The semi-transparent tinted window and forced-ventilation system in the roof ensure good air flow.

When not in use, the shower can be used as a space to dry wet clothes – or simply as a wardrobe extension. When not in use, the shower doubles as a drying area for wet clothes – or simply as extra wardrobe space.

Closing the bathroom door towards the living room creates a lovely large bathroom with a separate shower cubicle.
The clothes rail in the shower cubicle is ideal for hanging wet clothing up to drip-dry. And because the shower has its own radiator, you have your very own drying area on board.

The double-glazed flush-fitting windows provide excellent insulation and are seamlessly integrated into the side wall.
The entire water installation is protected from frost inside the heated 40 cm-high double floor. The front right-hand service compartment provides access both to the storage space under the transverse seating and to the double floor, which can be loaded across the entire width of the vehicle – including via a second service flap on the left.

The 2 x 11 kg gas bottles can be easily replaced via the large service flap. The installed gas changeover system automatically switches from the empty gas bottle to the full one.

TIP: Thanks to this system, gas appliances can be used safely while driving.
The optional levelling system automatically levels the motorhome. The actual vehicle weight can be measured at any time using the integrated weighing function.
The water tanks can be emptied and the boiler’s frost monitor operated via the technical compartment on the left side of the vehicle.

The rear garage with large garage doors on the left and right offers an immense amount of space. The rear garage can also be accessed from the vehicle’s interior via a small door.

The 70 cm-wide comfort habitation door, coupe entrance and electric step make getting in and out of the vehicle a breeze.
The rear area is monitored by two reversing cameras: one mounted at the top for an overview and one at the height of the number plate for a precise view of the ground.
The standard awning is 6 metres long (A 6822-2: 5 m) and can be extended to a width of 2.75 metres. It provides protection against the sun and rain.
